What is the “POV: your first time in a fancy cafe” trend?+
It is a one-take TikTok and Reels skit. In a minimalist cafe, someone sits on a tiny round wall table, sipping coffee as if it were a stool. A regular walks in, sits on the bench and puts her cup on the identical table next to her. The first-timer realizes, quietly climbs down and sits on the bench as if nothing happened. The joke is all body language and timing.
How do I make the fancy cafe video with my own photo?+
Upload one clear photo of yourself, confirm you may use it, enter your email and pay for a pack. The video is made after payment and you get a private link to watch and download it. You don’t need to find a cafe, bring a friend, film or write a prompt.
Do I need an app, TikTok or CapCut? Does it work on my phone?+
No app and no account. It works in the browser on iPhone, Android or a computer: pick a photo from your camera roll, pay, and download a normal MP4 you can post to TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.
Which person do I become in the video?+
You become the first-timer who sits on the table and then climbs down. The guest who arrives and uses the table correctly is the cafe’s regular, or your friend if you add a second photo.
Can I put two people in it, like me and a friend?+
Yes. Upload your photo first, then add your friend’s photo: you play the first-timer on the table and your friend plays the regular who walks in. It costs the same one credit. Use two separate photos with one person each; a single group photo doesn’t work.
Does the video include the “POV” caption?+
No. The video has no on-screen text, so nothing is misspelled or covers your face. Add “POV: your first time in a fancy cafe” (or your own line) with the text tool in TikTok, Instagram or YouTube when you post; it also stays sharp at every size.
Does it have the original sound?+
Yes. The 12-second video comes with the trend’s original audio already synced to the scene. If a platform mutes or replaces the sound, you can add the trending sound inside that app instead.
Which photo gives the best result?+
One adult alone in the frame, face clear and looking at the camera, ideally head to toe or head to knee, in even light without heavy filters. Group shots, sunglasses, side profiles and blurry images make the result look less like the real person.
Will I wear my own clothes? Can I change the cafe?+
Your hair, accessories and the colors and style of your clothes come from your photo; details such as layers, shoes or sleeves can change. The cafe, the other guest, the camera and the sound are fixed so every video matches the trend; you can’t choose another background or song.
Will it really look like me?+
We ask the AI to keep your face, hair, skin tone and build in every shot, including when you look down at your cup and turn to climb off the table. AI can still change small details, so check the result. A sharp, front-facing photo helps most.
How long is the video, and what quality?+
About 12 seconds, vertical 9:16, 720p MP4 with sound and no watermark. That is the whole scene in one take, from the perch to the casual sit-down.
How much does it cost? Is there a free version?+
Packs are one-time USD payments: 1 video $9.99, 3 videos $24.99, 10 videos $69.99. There is no subscription and no free personal preview; you can watch our finished example before paying. Every new video uses one credit.
How long does it take, and can I close the page?+
Usually 3–10 minutes, depending on the video service’s queue. You can close the page right after paying: your order page updates by itself and we email you when the video is ready, or if it failed and your credit came back. If it takes much longer than that, email support with your order reference; we reply within 1 business day. Your credit stays reserved, so don’t pay again.
There’s no account. How do I get back to my video and credits?+
Through the private link in your order emails, which works on any device for 30 days. The browser you paid with also lists your recent orders under My orders. If the link has expired, email support from the address you used at checkout and we’ll restore access to your unused credits.
Can I use a photo of a friend, a celebrity, a child or my pet?+
Use your own photo or one of an adult who agreed to the video. Don’t upload celebrities, public figures, minors or anyone without permission. The scene is made for one human first-timer, so pets, cartoons and group photos are not supported.
Is this the official video, a TikTok filter or a CapCut template?+
No. Your First Time in a Fancy Cafe is an independent website. It is not affiliated with TikTok, CapCut, ByteDance or the people in the original clip. The name describes the trend people search for.
Can I use the video in ads or on a brand account?+
You can post it on your own accounts. The trend’s sound belongs to its rights holders and isn’t licensed by us, so for ads, sponsored posts or brand accounts, replace it with music you or the platform have licensed. Only feature people who agreed to be in the video.
What happens if generation fails?+
If the video service reports a failure, the credit for that attempt goes back to your order automatically, once. You’ll see it on your order page and get an email, and you can try again with the same or another photo at no extra cost. A returned credit is not a cash refund; for refunds, see the refund policy or contact support.
How are my photo and video stored?+
We delete your photo from our storage within 7 days and keep finished videos on your private order page for 30 days. Nothing is published to a gallery. The video provider that makes your video processes the photo under its own policies, described in our privacy policy.
